Terms and Conditions
1.   DEPOSIT
     -  A deposit of R5000 and this signed document secures your booking of the venue and the date

        and time of your function.  The deposit may be adjusted depending on the amount of guests
        attending.
    -   R1500 of the deposit is refundable  and will be kept for 2 weeks after the wedding/function when all extras
        and damages are subtracted.(Where Applicable)

2.   CANCELLATION FEE:
       In the event of a cancellation, fees will be charged as follows:
     -  The deposit (R5000.00) is not refundable in the event of cancellation or requests to change the reserved date.
     -  In case of cancellation less than 5 months before function date, 50% of total quotation must be paid.

3.   PAYMENT:
     -   50% of Invoice is payable 2 months prior to function.
     -  Total outstanding amount is payable 1 month prior to function
     -  Conference booking - 50% deposit is payable with booking and total outstanding 1 month before function date.
    -  Should payments not be received by due dates, the booking will be cancelled
     -  Final head count must be confirmed 2 weeks before wedding / function date.
     -  Credit Cards are not accepted.


4.  VENUE HOURS:
     -  Morning services will start at 9:00 and end at 13:00 for functions with total head count less that 100.
     -  Evening functions will start at 16:00 and end at 24:00. Duration of Functions is normally eight hours unless prior arranged.
     -  All music must stop at 23:45. All guests must vacate the property by 24:00.
     -  R1000.00 per hour after 24:00 or part of an hour will be charged and will be deducted from the deposit.
     -  Partying After 24:00 will not be allowed.
     -  Dinner will be served 1 hour after the starter, and will be available for  1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the number of guests
     -  Desert will be served  right after dinner and will be available for a maximum of 1 1/2 hours.

     

5.   BAR SERVICES:
    -  A cash bar is available.  Bar will close at 23.30 for evening functions and 12:30 for day functions
       (unless prior arranged).
    - 
Own liquor is not permitted on premises. Any Person/Guest with own Liquor will be asked to Leave the Premises.
   -  No Bar Tabs will be opened, Unless prior paid in Cash.
    -  When an open bar is organized, the client will have to issue guests with coupons to buy at the bar
        to prevent over consumption. Open bar must be paid prior to function and  not on the  function day.
   -  The Bride and Groom will take responsibility for their guests.
    -  In the case where a guest appears to become aggressive due to alcohol consumption, he/she will be asked to leave
    -  If he/she does not comply by Leaving, the electricity will be cut and all guests will be required to leave the premises.
       In the event where a guest becomes aggressive (even when not drunk) we reserve the right to have those person/persons removed from
       the Premises.
   -   If any of the above mentioned circumstances occur, No Deposit will be refunded.

6.    BOMA AREA :

    -  In the event where you are using the Boma area for a Fire, only La-Louise Staff will be allowed to handle
        the fire.  No Guests will be allowed to interfere.
     -  The Boma Area will also be the designated smoking area

7.    OUTSIDE SUPPLIERS :
       -  In the event of the client using an outside supplier for the wedding cake, please ensure that
         the wedding cake is placed 2 hours prior to the ceremony.
     -   All deliveries to be cleared with La Louise for proper access to the venue.      
     -   In the event of using a florist / musician / DJ other than La Louise's appointed suppliers, the
         client must please ensure that all flowers are placed 2 hours prior to the ceremony and also ensure
         that musicians / DJ provide their own extension cables, plugs etc.  La Louise is not
         responsible for the placing of flowers or equipment for outside suppliers for the function.

8.
      MUSIC AND DJ's
     -   A R500 Service Fee is payable by the DJ or Client for electricity Usage and Occupied Space. (only 10A/H is allowed for Dj's
         Equipment) 

     -   No-one will be allowed in the DJ box, requests can be handed in at the bar.
     -   All DJ's must report to the Function Manager before setup or unloading their equipment.

     -   When using an outside DJ , a separate space will be issued to him / her.
     -   All DJ's must be registered with SAMRO and a certificate must be shown as Proof before the start of the Function.

     -   Your DJ will be asked to turn the music off by 23:45 so guests can start leaving the premises.
     -   When using your own DJ he must comply to La Louise Venue's rules regarding setup in hall,

         time to switch of the music, on how loud the music must be.
     -   The volume of the music must not exceed 95 DB before 10PM and 90Db or Lower after 10PM.
         A Db meter is used to determine the Loudness. DJ will be warned three times.
         After 3 Warnings he will be asked to switch off and leave the premises.

     -  If the DJ does not comply to this rules and Regulations, the electricity will be cut.


      
9.    GENERAL
     -  The final meeting between the client and La Louise will take place 1 month before the

        function.  All aspects of the function must be agreed upon.  No changes will be accepted after
        this meeting. Meetings can not be longer than one Hour.
     -  A Rehearsal is allowed in the Chapel and Hall for one Hour. Everything longer than one Hour will be charged at a rate of R150 P/H and
        after Hours R300 P/H
     -  All guests must adhere to the designated smoking areas.
       ( According to the new Smoke Regulations, Smoking is not allowed under any roof or closer than 3 meters from any window or Entrance.)

     -   No fireworks or fire lanterns will be allowed on the premises due to high risk buildings.
     -   Nobody is allowed to go beyond the "No Entry" signs accept the Bride, Groom and their Bridesmaids unless prior arrangement.
     -   Nobody is allowed in the Kitchen or behind the Bar or behind the Dish-up Area unless prior arrangement or permission.
     -   A Cleanup fee will be applicable if Guests do not make use of Dustbins.
We do not Allow the Following :
     -   No Food will be given out after the Function ...Leftovers will remain the property of La-Louise Venue
     -   No Flower Arrangements to be done at the Venue.
     -   No own Alcohol or beverages allowed on Premises.
     -   No outside Caterers Allowed.
     -   No own Jumping Castles etc. Allowed. Will be arranged by the Venue
     -   No Pickups or deliveries to be made on Sundays or Public Holidays.
  
10.    DISCLAIMER
     -  La Louise can't be held liable for the interruption of services such as electricity, water and sanitary services at the venue.
     - 
The Premises of La Louise Venue is entered at own risk and it is the responsibility of the Client to let Guests know about the Following :
      La Louise Venue and its employees, will not be held responsible for any of the Following :

             -  Loss or Damage to any Property of any Guest or client during the Function.
             -  Loss or Damage to any Property of any Guest or Client after the Function.
             -  Injury or Death to any Person entering our Premises.
       (We strongly recommend supervision of children on the premises as we have Fountains and

        Water Features around.  We DO NOT allow anyone to climb nor swim into the fountains & water features and
        these people will be asked to leave the premises.)
   
- La Louise reserves the right to cancel any booking without any liability on its part in the

        event of any damages to the venue by fire, strikes or any other cause beyond management's
        control. La Louise will assist the client to locate an alternative venue.

11.    AGREEMENT

       I hereby agree that I Will be responsible for all damages or Loss that occurs during the event and that La Louise can deduct that amount
       from my Deposit paid (or pay the Full amount) and I also agree to bind myself  to the rules and Regulations of La Louise Venue.
